Orange County Register reports that there are more DUI / drunk driving or Driving under the Influence arrests in Orange County on July 4th this year than last year.
It reported that 57 people were arrested at the weekend of July 4th for Orange County DUI between 6 p.m. Friday and midnight Sunday. No one was killed in an alcohol-related crash this year.
There were 52 people arrested for DUI last year. One person was killed in a DUI caused collision.
There were 12 people killed during the same period, the same number of DUI matters as last year.
