L.A. deputy sentenced to 6 months for DUI crash
SANTA ANA, Orange County - Los Angeles County deputy, Robert Moran, was convicted for DUI caused injury of two people in a car accident. He was sentenced today to 6 months on home confinement. He was driving under the influence of alcohol.on June 29, 2008. He pleaded guilty for driving under the influence causing injury and driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent causing injury. Both of the charges are misdemeanors DUI charges.
Under California Vehicle Section 23152, it is illegal for any person who is under the influence of any alcoholic beverage or drug, or under the combined influence of any alcoholic beverage and drug, to drive a vehicle.
