He was sentenced to 12 years in prison for stealing from an insurance company and using the money for his personal expenses. He pleaded guilty to 103 felony counts of money laundering and white collar sentencing enhancements. He was also ordered to repay $2.7 million in restitution. During the time he was working with the company, he took $2.7 million from the company bank account and put into his own personal account.
