Santa Ana, Orange County - A Rancho Santa Margarita church pastor was convicted of felony sex crime today for having sex with an underage girl.
Shane Horning, of San Jose, was charged with 4 felony oral copulation with a minor. During 2005 and 2006, the young girl at the age 16 met Horning when he was a youth pastor at Margarita Methodist Church .
In 2009, Horning sent a sexual oriented text message to the girl's 15-year-old relative. He was convicted of one felony count of attempted oral copulation of a minor under 16. Horning is facing one year in jail and 5 years of probation.
