A former Marine was indicted by an Orange County grand jury Monday. He confessed to killing 5 women in Southern California. Andrew Urdiales was arrested in 1997 for slayings 3 women. He confessed in detail for murdering 8 women in a nine-year spree.
For Southern California and Orange County murder cases, Urdiales was charged with 5 murders in Orange, San Diego and Riverside counties during 1986 and 1995. 24 years ago, Urdiales killed Robbin Brandley at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo. In most of his cases, he sexually assaulted his victims before killing them.
